French restaurant Slink & Bardot presents a unique 4-course dinner where they have paired Parisienne cuisine with single malts. The dinner is inspired by the four different stages of making whiskey.
The first course draws inspiration from the first stage of whiskey making, which is selecting the Grain and features Juniper glazed Parsnip paired with the smoky and balanced Scapa Glansa. The second course highlights the malting stage with the Seared Scallops and King Trumpet Scallops paired with Glenlivet 15 French Oak Reserve. The third stage - distillation - features Confit Duck Cigar paired with Aberlour 16. The final course pays homage to the frozen stage and presents Irish Coffee Patissier paired with Longmorn Distillers Choice.
