The Luxe Bazaar hosted by Red Bug and Chuzki is the place to be for a curated range of all things fashion, lifestyle and home décor. With over 40 brands participating, there’s more to this edition than meets the eye. It’s all about women! “With November filled with days dedicated to men, we decided to change things and do something exclusively for women,” says Raghu Raman, director at Red Bug, the organisers.

For Shruthi Shah, owner and founder of Chennai-based brand Artistich, it is the first time she is exhibiting her mushroom-leather bags that launched in May. “My brand was born out of my college project and a lot of research has gone into it. It is targeted specifically at women so that they can get maximum utility — for work or casual use,” she says. Her debut collection offers laptop bags, totes and sling bags. `2,000 onwards.

This excitement is also resonated by fellow first time entrepreneur, Lavanya Sidhani of clothing brand Alankarna, who is showcasing her collection of ethnic wear in the city for the first time since its launch in August. Sourced from Kolkata and Mumbai, the line is simple, placing focus on the fabric — raw silk and cotton. `1,000 onwards.

Also catching our eye across this wide display of apparel is the festive collection of the brand, Being Woman by Rekha Singh. It is safe to say that there is no shortage of sequins and shimmer here. With a base colour palette of cream, beige and pastels, the ethnic line of dupattas, kurtas and tunics is anything but basic with its heavy embellishments.
`1,800 onwards for apparel.
