Always stylish: Indrakshi Pattanaik Malik

From creating timeless looks for  Keerthy Suresh in actress Savitri’s biopic Mahanati to edgy ensembles for Puma’s Propah Lady campaign that debunks gender stereotypes, when it comes to styling, Indrakshi Pattanaik Malik is versatile to the hilt. We chat up with the diva to check out what are her top picks when it comes to shaping her personal style.

Diva in denim
The stylist loves a  mixed bag — from fleas to  thrift stores. “I prefer vintage shirts that can be tucked into a high-waisted jeans. I like the 90’s slouchy jeans from Pull and Bear,” says Indrakshi, adding, Zara has a few good pairs too. Rs 2,290 approximately.

No harm from sun
The award-winning fashionista normally sticks to a broad spectrum sunscreen. But she says, “I have a busy day, I prefer the Fotoprotector ISDIN Transparent Spray SPF 50 for outdoor shoots.” No need to get your hands greasy, just a few sprays and you are set to brave the sun. Rs 2,120 approximately.

In her shoes
Indrakshi has a vast repertoire of shoes, she reveals! From block-heel and ankle-strap sandals, to the dressy lace up ones, I have them all. But my white sneakers from Reebok Classics CL (vintage) is the one that she finds it easy to pair with many outfits. Rs 6,499 approximately.

Paint it red
While the trendsetter loves mixing and creating her own shade, she says the 707 Ruby Woo-Retro Matte By MAC is the one she has been using for the longest time. Rs 1,700 approximately.

That clean feeling
A lot of people swear by Clinique for the three-step face wash, toning, moisturising. But before anything, Indrakshi believes it is necessary to take the makeup off and make sure your skin is squeaky clean. “I use Clinique’s Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm,” she says. Rs 3,200 approximately.

No sweat!
If one needs a quick pick-me-up or a confidence boost before stepping out, a few dabs of concealer and foundation comes in handy. Indrakshi suggests a few dabs of the Clinique Beyond Perfecting Concealer- Foundation. It is allergy-tested, and I can create a natural look with it that lasts for a long time. Also, it is lightweight and covers thoroughly without clogging pores. So no sweating and that’s a blessing in our hot and humid climes! Rs 3,250 approximately.

Scent of a woman
Womanity by Thierry Mugler is a perfume that Indrakshi has been getting back to for a while now. She says, “I bought two recently, because it is relatively hard to find. It smells of caviar which is my absolute weakness.” Rs 22,862 approximately.
