Coming up: Little Things Studio's new summer collection

This eco-friendly label from New Delhi offers edgy and flowy dresses

When designer Ankita Srivastava started her label Little Things Studio in 2016, she wanted to carve a niche for herself in the growing milieu of sustainable fashion. Fast forward to 2018 and she is set to launch her new summer collection. Not only that, but she has also dressed actresses Taapsee Pannu, Dia Mirza and Regina Cassandra recently.

“The originality of design is what I always crave for,” says the designer, who studied Textile Design from National Institute of Fashion Technology. In her upcoming collection, ‘Postcards From Summer’, which she will be launching on March 25, the silhouettes are minimal with some noticeable vintage elements.“You can expect pastels hues and block printing technique as well,” informs the 29-year-old.  The separates she has created leave ample scope for experimentation. The collection has jackets, breezy dresses and pants with interesting names. For instance, the top picks are a blue Macroni jacket, Hold Me Paper Bag Pants and White Night Dress. Clued into eco-friendly fashion practices, the designer is mindful of the fabrics she uses. “I have used cotton, silk and handloom khadi from West Bengal and Bhopal,” says the designer, who has previously worked with Aneeth Arora of Péro. Although her clothes are available for sale on her website, www.littlethingstudio.com, it is through Instagram that most of her clientele reached out to her.

Rs 3,500 onwards.
