Delhi-based label, RAR Studio is set to launch their Spring/ Summer 2019 collection, Sang-E-Marmar. The label — helmed by the trio Ritesh Rajpoot, Aniket and Rishav Sinha —  is known for their elaborate bridal wear. But this time, they have moved away from bridal couture to focus on luxury occasion wear. The shades of ivory and detailed meenakari work, which are the highlights of the repertoire, is a nod to the beauty of Mughal architecture, mostly the iconic Taj Mahal. The collection stands out because of rich surface ornamentation — aari embroidery,  zardosi and meticulously crafted bead sequences. The collection will be available at Anahita and Deccan Story soon.

While talking about where the idea for the collection stemmed from, Ritesh explains, “We have always looked forward to creating signature ensembles that are inspired by Indian architecture. Hence, one can spot motifs that draw from arabesque, inlay work, Mughal floral bunches and murals.” One can shop for kurtas paired with palazzos, floor-length anarkalis and stunning saris. We think that these drapes with round neck blouses and floral embroidery are the best buys from the collection because they have a certain timeless appeal.

Pair them with a stone-studded chandbali for the perfect look! The colour palette includes ivory, ecru, old rose, powder blue, mint, lemon, yellow and rust. The outfits are crafted entirely from Chanderi, shares Ritesh, adding that they have worked on the collection for over 10 months.
