South Korean natural beauty brand, Innisfree, has been popular with the K-beauty enthusiasts for a while now. And chances are, if your ideal way of relaxing means sitting back with a sheet mask, you would have heard of the brand that opened its 18th outlet in the country and the first one in Hyderabad. “We are really excited about coming to Hyderabad,” said Doyoul Lee, the country head of Innisfree and looks like he wasn’t the only one. The loyalists had lined up at Inorbit Mall much before the store opened its doors at noon.
As we navigated our way through the crowd, we discovered the 665 sq.ft outlets, has a lot of speciality counters, including two dedicated to only to anti-ageing elixirs — including the popular pomegranate line comprising the essence, serums and creams. They have more than 10 varieties of sheet masks for you to pick from — masks with skin replenishing ingredients like Vitamin C, Peptide, Collagen, Jeju Orchid among others. The interior features are mostly done up in green as a nod to the label’s connection with natural ingredients sourced from the Jeju province — a volcanic island off the Southern coast of the Korean Peninsula.
Apart from that, their sleeping masks are also much sought-after, we are informed and this store stocks all the fan favourites that the skincare enthusiasts have been ordering online for a while now. What’s better is that one is allowed to take a patch test to see what’s the best bet for your skin. Their well-known Green Tea range, as their seed serum of this range packed with a variety of amino acids, is said to work wonders for the skin.
That apart, one must also check out their Pomegranate range, known for its anti-ageing properties. It might have taken a while for Hyderabad to get its first Innisfree store, but it is the first outlet in the entire country that has a section for their latest make-up range. Their range of foundations had been a big hit since it was launched. “You can customise them as well according to your skin’s moisture content and skin tone,” says Mini Sood Banerjee, marketing manager. At the moment, the store has around 330 options on the shelf, which includes and foot care masks as well.
