Footwear from Hyderabad's Juttify can help you stand out this wedding season
The right footwear can make a world of difference to your look. If you are going for a wedding or a festive do and wearing elaborate traditional couture, finding the right pair of juttis is not easy. That’s why city-based Kaunain Abedi (25) and her childhood friend, Maria Zaki (24) decided to fill the gap. Their label, Juttify, is about a few months old and has since then it has been a constant fixture at exhibitions. Next week, they are also showing at the Sunday Soul Sante.
For that, the duo is going to display two of their latest collections — Honeybee and a party wear collection. “We mostly come up with two collections every season,” shares Kaunain, adding that one can reach out to them via Instagram to place an order. They are also quite quick to respond to online queries. “This time, we wanted to create a range of juttis that will go well with both Western and made-to-measure Indian ensembles. Hence, if you are looking for something that you want for the former, choose from Honeybee as the ones in party wear line are more suited for the latter,” says Maria. We like the hand-embroidered quirky bee motifs on these juttis that set them apart. They come in muted colours like pale yellow and blue. That apart, they one can also shop for sequin jutti with a hint of bling, and zardosi on simple georgette.
Don’t forget to check the elaborate thread work on these juttis which are regal to the hilt. Kaunain shares that they are also open to creating bespoke footwear for brides-to-be and specialised clutches to match both the outfit and the show.
