BIBA launches its festive collection in Kolkata
If you have set your eyes on exuding unmatched ethnic vibe this pujo then BIBA has your sorted. The homegrown ethnic wear brand that has 14 stores in the city launched its festive collection Kamakhya recently.
The collection is a grand range from BIBA celebrating the trade whites, gold and reds, innovated with an array of authentic designs, intricate gold foil prints, beautiful gottapatti work, hand embroidery that melds conveniently with modern drapes and cuts. It is probably their largest collection so far and commenting on it Siddharth Bindra, MD, BIBA offers, “We have probably come out with the largest collection till date and it has something exciting for everyone. The Kamakhya collection has been designed keeping Kolkata consumers in mind and we have played with red, white and gold in mind.”
For those who are more inclined towards contemporary silhouettes should check out their Indie-trilogy collection. The three-piece sets with floral prints in shades of pastel green and beige exude style. The breezy layering makes it a must-have. One can also find Ghararas in their Nawabi Ghararas selection, one of the hottest trends this season. Also check out their Slayers and Chirpy Crossroads with a mix of stripes, birds and trees.
The collection comprises SKD (Salwar-Kameez-Dupatta), ethnic Mix & Match kurtas, palazzos, leggings, skirts, shararas, unstitched pieces and BIBA Girls – the much-loved kids’ collection. Use of rich fabrics like crisp voiles, cotton, chanderi and silk furnishes a royal look to the overall design. The fresh styles are an epitome of eternal bliss, purity and richness which will enhance your celebrations of the great legend of Goddess Durga in the multi-day festival.
The collection was launched by actress Ritabhari Chakraborty at their South City Mall outlet.
