Compared to their previous bridal collections with heavy and intricate work, designers Sandeep Reddy Ravi and Ekta Nahar have decided to come up with something simple and easy to wear. “While designing the present collections, we realised that florals were something a lot of people were asking about, so we decided to bring in more of 3D floral impressions and concentric circles,” says the 27-year-old Sandeep, owner of this five-year-old brand.
Working with layered and draped silhouettes, this season, expect to find a range of flowy gowns and palazzos that can be worn either to a sangeet or dinner.“The collection features adaptable styles that allow you multiple mix and match options,” he adds. Keeping in line with the floral motifs, the colour palette of the collection comes in pastel predominantly with mint, green and peach. The line also features marble dyeing techniques and gold accents.
“Unlike our previous collections, which are elaborate, we designed a capsule collection featuring 12 exclusive designs,” says Sandeep. Look out for surface embellishment techniques like Kardhana of Varanasi that uses gold beads resembling gold tubes.
