Models gear up for the Indulge Mega Model Hunt finale on August 30

The preparations are on in full-swing with the 45 finalists

The Indulge Mega Model Hunt’s participants, 45 in total, are getting ready to take the modelling industry by storm. The youngsters have been going through gruelling training under Prasad Bidapa’s  team for the grand finale on August 30 at VR Bengaluru. 


The Indulge Mega Model Hunt 2017 brought to you by Prasad Bidapa Associates and presented by VR Bengaluru, is a stepping stone for girls and boys who are keen on pursuing their ambition in the fashion industry. This coveted event will provide these aspiring youngsters the right kind of training and guidance, helping them shape up as the best in the industry. Assisting Prasad are experts such as show director Kevin Oliver, who has been especially flown down to India from Dubai for the event, Beena Sondhi, well-known make-up artist and stylist David Whitbread. Talking about the preparation, Prasad shares, “Participants’ grooming is of utmost importance. From trendy haircuts to facials, manicures and pedicures, they are already beginning to look like supermodels. Their runway training, posing for photographers, attitude and the business of fashion are all being taken care of by experts.”


To help participants develop a distinct personality, theatre practitioner Judith Bidapa held a theatre workshop and life coach Shashikiran Kalyanpur conducted a session on confidence building. Former model Zoheb Yusuf has been holding one-on-one training sessions for all the participants. In addition, participants are given daily assignments regarding their workout regimen, skin care and healthy eating. Dr Fathima from the Body Science Clinic has been roped in for skin care. “Photographer Asha Thadani has been holding sessions on how to pose and get comfortable in front of the camera,” says Zoheb. 


Show director Kevin has focused on training the participants for the ramp by teaching them the terminology and jargon involved. “It will help them be more confident and well-prepared for future shows,” says Kevin. It’s a no-cost three-week training for the lucky 45 participants who have been selected by the experts. On the final day, two of them — a girl and a boy will be titled The Indulge Mega Model of the Year.
