Shifting from their stronghold of customised outfits, they recently launched a new Spring/Summer
collection in their Hyderabad-based store titled Off the Rack, which chiefly introduces a ready-to-wear element to their line-up. “The new line is for the gentleman looking for instant gratification without compromising on fit and styling,” says Gautam Golchha, co-founder, Tailorman. The outfits have been designed by a team guided by industry veteran Manish Saksena, a creative consultant. If someone wants a quick fix for a post-work event or a last minute wedding shopping, this collection hopes to cater to those requirements.

Classics reinvented
The solo collection can be further categorised into Nouveau, Revelry and Resort. Nouveau has contemporary shirts and trousers crafted from easy care fabrics and is ideal for work-related travel as well. The ensembles from this collection can qualify as work wear. But when teamed up with say a European street style inspired shorts, they can work as party wear as well. Revelry is more occasion-specific – think cocktail parties and engagement dos. Expect tuxedo jackets in velvets with satin trims to traditional bandhgalas with modern cuts. The Resort line brings together an assorted cruise wear collection which adds a hint of fun, colour and comfort. You can shop for linen jackets and band collar shirts. “We are one of the first Indian brands to offer suit separates. Our patrons have the flexibility to buy different suit jackets and suit trousers in different sizes, hence giving him an even better fit,” concludes Vidya Nataraj, co-founder.
