Gulshan Devaiah, Bengaluru boy and popular Bollywood actor, known for his roles in films such as Hunterrr, Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela and A Death In The Gunj, is known to  pull off both quirky and classic looks. Here are his recommendations for a greener, fashion-forward wardrobe.

Cool black
Antar-Agni’s fluid silhouettes are made using moss cotton, silk blends, twill, khadi and handwoven cotton linen. I like this complete black ensemble. The V-neck jacket and easy fit trouser combination is simple yet elegant. You could switch the pants to white pyjamas or team the trousers with a different shirt or kurta. Rs 36,100. At AZA, Mumbai. All tied up
Forth Goods uses vegetable dyes to tan its leather products which makes each of them age gracefully with a beautiful patina that gets better with time. Unlike a traditional bow tie, this leather number from Forth Goods can be worn with black, grey or off-white. Even if it is a floral-printed T-shirt or shirt, wearing this will elevate your look to another level. Rs 1,500. Details: forthgoods.com

Give me red
This jacket from Bhu:sattva really stands out because of the colour and the paisley pattern. The Nehru-collar bandi goes well with a kurta, a dress shirt, a semi-formal shirt or even a T-shirt. It’s quite a versatile piece. Rs 8,500. Details: bhusattva.com

Pompom love
Ka-Sha takes upcycling to a new level with discarded plastic bags turned into jackets and other such innovations. I found this Ka-Sha stole really colourful and cool. I can wear it with just about anything. I can also match my shoes or multi-coloured jutis with it. I quite like the pompom detailing on the borders. I know it looks feminine, but I think I can pull it off! Rs 6,360. Details: perniaspopupshop.com

Stripe up
Doodlage puts recycled and upcycled fabrics to good use by designing relaxed everyday wear. This L-Panel T-shirt with a red pocket and stripes is quite interesting. I can also layer this with a waistcoat, a jacket or wear it as is. Teaming this with dress pants, shorts or tracks will make it look smarter. Rs 2,800. At Collage, Wood Street. Details: 25566819

On the go
Each of Hidesign’s products are made with the finest leathers, which are purely vegetable-tanned. The leather trolley bag is something I really need. It’s convenient for short trips and photo shoots. Though it’s cabin-size, it has enough room and a lot of compartments. Rs 17,725. At 1MG Mall. Details: 22086531
