New Year Special: Taj Coromandel in Chennai serves up exotic grills and live jazz by the poolside
Grills and live jazz by the pool? This festive season, enjoy the freshest of seafood, meats and vegetables grilled to perfection as part of a specially crafted menu by Executive Chef Sujan Mukherjee at Taj Coromandel.
Under a star-lit sky, start the evening off with Mixed Greens, Cherry tomatoes, English cucumber, Sicilian lemon, olive oil; Romaine Heart, Ceaser Dressing, Garlic croute, grilled vegetables, parmesan shave; Char Grilled Prawn, herbed polenta, chilli garlic wine emulsion; or Asparagus and Parmesan Chicken Roulade.
Vegetarians can choose from Duo Of Asparagus, Artichokes, Wild mushroom, Corn On The cobb, Broccoli and Halloumi. With Saffron cream, Garlic cheese, and Pesto sauces, and Edamame Risotto, Pumpkin Gorgonzola, Ravioli, and Truffle mash on the sides, savour these subtly flavoured vegetarian grills.
Seafood lovers can go for the Lobster, Soft shell crab, Scallops, Grouper; Chilean sea bass, Atlantic Pink salmon or Fresh catch of the day.
There’s also Chicken, Duck and Turkey served with Chicken Pan Jus, Thyme brown Butter, and Cranberry jus sauces. Those who prefer meat can enjoy a gorgeous New Zealand Lamb Rack, Canadian Pork Belly and Tenderloin.
