As the usage of OTT platforms is growing in India, people are moving towards Smart TV and Android TV options. Now, Amazon has announced the launch of its Fire TV Edition smart televisions in India starting with the Onida Fire TV Edition television series. The Onida series will be available in two sizes - 32 inches and 43 inches - and goes on sale on Amazon on December 20.
The edition comes with the Fire TV software and experience built into the television itself like access to streaming services supported on the Fire TV platform, including Amazon Prime Video, Netflix, Hotstar, YouTube, and more.
There is also a built-in WiFi, 3 HDMI ports, 1 USB port and 1 earphone port to enable customers to seamlessly connect DTH or cable set-top boxes, gaming consoles, soundbars, and home theatre systems. With Alexa Voice Remote included, it is even easier now to launch apps, search for favourite movies and TV shows, play music, switch inputs between on-demand and live TV and control smart home devices.
The 32-inch variant is priced at INR 12,999 and INR 21,999 for the 43-inch option.
