Eating spoonfuls of Milo is an experience common to many of our childhoods. Vishal Amirtha-raj has translated that nostalgia into the Milo shake ice cream at his less-than-a-month-old ice cream parlour. The place that can seat 32 people at once, boasts of 30 flavours of ice cream (procured from different suppliers) blended with toppings on the cold stone, in the house.
The outlet’s USP is unique blends of flavour with generous toppings that include the rich and decadent brownie Nutella and the peanut candy-infused cheeky chikki. The Strawberry Oreo was put together on a rather boring day, at the underground storage area of the bar. “It is a weird flavour you might think, however it is currently our best seller,” says Vishal who adds that it took months of research and food trails to finalise the menu.
For the kids, they have the colourful Pop Pop with a vanilla base and jelly beans hidden within and another one that comes with the Kinder joy chocolate blended into vanilla base. Our favourite is the New York cheesecake variant with the crunch of the buttery biscuit base that makes it an unavoidable choice. You can also look out for strawberry chocolate banana and jello shots that are soon to be added to the menu. All the more reason to head out to Scooped this summer.
