This eight year old girl was found and took by the police in Bahraich. It seems like she has been living with the monkeys for a long time, she is scared of human beings and she cannot speak nor understand any language.
Sub-inspector Suresh Yadav was on a routin patrol in Motipur range of Katarniaghat Wildlife Sanctuary when he spotted the girl. She seemed to be comfortable with the aped, who screeched at Suresh as he tried to take her away from them.
The girl was admitted to the district hospital, often getting violent with her doctors. The eight year old is showing slow improvement. She continues to eat directly from her mouth and sometimes walks like a monkey using her hands.
