Dine like a royal

Le Royal Meridien’s restaurant launched their new menu in style with a fashion show that reflected the traditional flavours on their plates. We love the riot of royal headgear sported by the models at the event. Post the show, signature dishes from the menu were unveiled.

GoT the fever?

Game of Thrones hysteria seems to have pervaded Chennai’s nightlife scene with the launch of the new season. Even if you weren’t dressed in costume at the cosplay party at Secret Society recently,  no one was left out —  courtesy the Lannister Gold beers doing the rounds. The R&B soundscape with visual DJ Prashanth Amir was totally unexpected, but the highlight of the night was Shravan Sridhar whipping out his violin to play the theme music that we all know by-heart.

Goa adventure

The ongoing Goan seafood festival at Spice Haat, Hyatt Regency, saw plenty of takers for more than just the food. As a part of the festival, there is also a streetside-inspired flea market serving up a host of fun beach-side trinkets.

Funky town

You know there’s going to be plenty of move and groove when Orlando and The Medium Rare Band hit Bay 146. Sweet Child O’ Mine was our favourite of the night.
