Whistle Podu Express takes off with CSK fans from Namma Chennai to meet Rajasthan Royals in Pune

India is a cricket-crazy nation and while the Indian team is taking an international break, IPL fever has once again taken over different parts of the country and fans are travelling all over to watch their favourite cricketers play. 

Home team Chennai Super Kings are returning to the Indian Premier League after two years and the fans are backing their team in ways that is painting the city yellow. The fans boarded Whistle Podu Express from Chennai Central railway station early on Thursday morning to support the home team in their new venue in Pune.

After the recent black badge-controversy, CSK's home ground has been shifted for safety issues and the CSK management board along with the fan club organised the special train to take 20 fans carefully selected to show their support to the team. The contingent also has other fans who have regularly been part of the meetings and blood donation camps. The fans are also the ones who accompany the officials for the orphanage visits on Suresh Raina and MS Dhoni's birthday.

The fans tweeted about their journey from Chennai Central as they boarded the train this morning.
