Here's how these three Indian girls are going to be part of FIFA World Cup 2018

Three girls from Punjab,  Jaspreet Kaur, Sonia Rania and Baljinder Kaur, who are associated with the Youth Football Club of Rurka Kalan, Punjab have been invited to Russia to participate in the FIFA World Cup 2018

According to reports, the opportunity came their way through the FIFA Foundation Festival that trains over 200 athletes from 18-25 years of age from around the world. The foundation is reported to have selected six facilitators, 48 delegation leaders, 58 young leaders from the group.

While Jaspreet Kaur from Rurka Kalan will be attending the World Cup as a facilitator, Sonia Rania and Baljinder Kaur have been invited to Russia to attend as leaders. According to reports, Jaspreet Kaur is also the only facilitator who has been selected from Asia.

The girls have been associated with the Youth Football Academy that aims to promote women players for several years.

"I come from an ordinary family. I'm extremely happy that this opportunity came my way," said Jaspreet to the media while talking about this opportunity.

In their 15-day tour, the girls will be attending seminars on sports and development of youth. The focus during workshops would be gender equality, rapport building, social issues and football methodologies.
