Soca with a hint of Indian

In 2015, Bravo released Chalo Chalo, a track with predominant soca beats and a touch of Indian influence. The song also featured Indian-origin Trinidadian singer, Nisha. Chalo Chalo also features other cricketers like Virat Kohli and Kieron Pollard, in addition to Bravo.

Do the Bravo dance

It was a song  that became a club anthem overnight. Champion released in 2016, when West Indies won the T20 World Cup. The song became a sign of celebration on the field, and the cricketer was known to break out into an impromptu jig whenever he took a wicket. He also roped in others to do the dance, including Kohli.

Caribbean meets K’wood

Bravo made his Kollywood appearance  with Ula in 2016, where he is seen dancing in true blue koothu style. Dressed in a fuschia pink shirt and donning layers of bling, the actor also does the quintessential dappankuthu moves with a swish of his veshti. The actor also sang in Tamil for the first time.

Bravo, the wild card

In 2016, the West Indian showed off his talent by joining dance reality show, Jhalak Dikhla Jaa. Bravo entered Season Nine of the show as a wild card entry. He was reported saying that cricket and entertainment go hand in hand, and that dancing is definitely harder than playing cricket.

Winging it SRK style

Bravo visited the sets of The Kapil Sharma Show and what ensued was a hilarious series of events. Kiku Sharda proposed to Bravo, and the cricketer also got Bollywood lessons on the show. From a class on Jeetendra’s moves to Shah Rukh Khan’s iconic dialogues in DDLJ, Bravo did it all in style.
