Renowned Indian chef Sanjeev Kapoor has curated some easy-to-follow sugar-free recipes specially for Mother’s Day and our favourite happens to be Custard Tart.
This sweet treat is ideal for mothers who always on the lookout for healthier alternative to traditional desserts for their little ones.
2-3 tbsps vanilla custard powder, 12 readymade tart shells, ¾ cup milk and 6 to 8 strawberries
What You Need:
13 measures Sugar Free Green, 2-3 tbsps dried rose petals, 1 cup unsweetened whipped cream Blanched and slivered pistachios for garnish
What You Need:
Take milk in a bowl and add vanilla custard powder. Cook this milk mixture on a nonstick pan on low heat till its thick. Add 9 measures of Sugar Free Green or any other sugar alternative available to this mix.
Method:
Roughly chop strawberries and add to the pan. Add ¼ cup water and cook on medium heat for 5-6 minutes. Afterwards, add dried rose petals to the strawberry mixture and mix well.
Method:
Transfer the custard mixture in a bowl. Allow it to cool and then refrigerate for 15-20 minutes. Add some whipped cream to the custard mixture later and fill it in a piping bag.
