Good news for cat lovers who get allergies like sneezing and itching around feline friends. Scientists might have found a vaccine that could save you the hassle of loving your pet.

As per reports, a study that is ready to be published in the Journal of Allergy and Clinical Immunology says that scientists in Switzerland have developed a vaccine that can counter allergies.

The vaccination that is to be done to cats is supposed to reduce harmful proteins found in their fur and dander. Allergies are caused when this protein gets into the system of humans, triggering a histamine rush.

Named Hypocat, the newly invented antidote will help the cat’s own immune system to fight the dangerous protein.

It will not just be of help to humans, but will also be of aid to cats who are not taken into shelters because they cause allergies.

It is believed that this solution will be made available in the market in three years.
