Our first award winner to be featured in the Devi Awards countdown series is Rani Awasthi for creating opportunities for children with hearing and speech impairments.
A teacher in Ayodhya, she runs a school where education is imparted through sign language. Many of the alumni have got good jobs with the government and private sector.
The Devi Awards will be held in Lucknow on October 30, 2019 at CMS Gomti Nagar Extension Auditorium.
