Google CEO Sundar Pichai at the Google I/O conference on Tuesday started with the responsibility that the tech giants have to correct things amid data breach concerns, but it was Google Assistant that stole the show. The virtual assistant developed by Google has gone a step further and will now be able to do what you thought was never possible before - like make an appointment at a local beauty salon among other things.

The Google Assistant feature is one among many others that will be implemented in the near future while also being able to assist in the most natural human voice undetected by the call receiver. The Assistant also helped tackled an unfriendly attempt of booking a table at a restaurant. Interestingly, it will help get necessary information from all businesses required by using, by simply using Artificial Intelligence. Pichai went on to state that the Google Assistant is years of work combining all their previous features into one and actually understands the nuances of conversation.

Google Assistant will also express gratitude with words like ‘Please’ to encourage polite behaviour in children at an early age. It will also be able to multitask for the user by giving score updates while also being able to turn lights off around you and the likes of it. If that wasn’t enough, John Legend will be among six other voices you can choose from to be your Google Assistant to talk to you and even wish you a good night.
