All roads led to Trident where music lovers enjoyed the Sota Resonance 2019’s The Vienna Concert. They were quite awed by the mesmerising acts of instrumental soloists! German pianist Severin von Eckardstein was the soloist for Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No 1, while oboist João Miguel Moreira da Silva led the solo for Bach’s Concerto. Most of the stringed instruments were from the 17th and 18th centuries.

Olive Bistro organised the 3rd edition of NRTYA showcase by Artists Originals to celebrate art, music and culture, last weekend. The two-day affair featured about 12 artistes including Nush Lewis and Midnight Traffic. The breathtaking lakeside ambience made for a perfect setting.

The January 2019 edition of Theatre Weekend featured two literature-based plays by renowned artistes. Rising theatre director Atul Satya Koushik from New Delhi brought ‘Kahani Teri Meri’ based on two heart-wrenching stories by legendary Hindi writers Dharamveer Bharati and Premchand. Popular theatre and film actor-director Danish Husain brought Qissebaazi to The Westin Hyderabad. The year’s first Theatre Weekend was a heady mix of entertainment and food for thought, in trademark style of Qadir Ali Baig Theatre Foundation’s theatre mandate for Hyderabad. A perfect theatrical start to the New Year.

Tollywood actor-producer Lakshmi Manchu and actor Navadeep lent their support to Parallax, a fundraiser concert at OTM on Friday. The concert was put together by three enterprising girls - Trishika Gupta, Shaswat Gupta & Subhash Chintalapati. The three students are raising funds for an orphanage. The actors were seen shaking a leg at the concert that invited local amateur DJs to play their mixes and display their skills to music lovers. Lakshmi looked glamorous in her olive green shirt dress while Navadeep looked cool in his distressed jeans and a casual tee.
