Celebrity photographer Karthik Srinivasan’s calendar launch of Entwined saw a glitzy guest list with a plethora of popular names from Kollywood stopping by to show their support. These included K S Ravikumar, Ganesh Venkatraman and R Parthiepan, as well as a good number of the city’s top models.
In another part of town, Bay 146 was set on fire with new band in town, Pho Quing Yell, comprising familiar faces like vocalist Nandita Sashidaran (of No Idea fame). The band took us on a nostalgia trip with covers like Black Dog (Led Zeppelin) and Dream On (Aerosmith).

The Teach For Change Annual Fundraiser, supported by PegaSystems, was held last week at The Taj Falaknuma Palace, Hyderabad. Celebrities walked the ramp at the 101 Dining Table in support of the initiative by fashion designers Rajyalakshmi Gubba, Varun Chakkilam and Jewellery Designer C Krishniah Chetty and Sons. Member of Parliament and actor Jaya Bachchan, Renuka Chowdhury and actress Aditi Rao Hydari were the chief guests.
Following the success of JaipurPhoto in 2017, the international outdoor photography festival will be held from 23rd February till the 4th March, 2018 in Jaipur. Produced by Orange Cat Productions in collaboration with the Department of Tourism, Government of Rajasthan, and with the support of the Birla Corporation Ltd., a total of fourteen exhibitions will be staged across the city of Jaipur. Locations include the Hawa Mahal, the City Palace, the Jantar Mantar and the Albert Hall Museum, with site-specific exhibitions and large-format prints adapted to the exceptional architecture of the venues.
