Rishi Sunak (42) has been appointed as the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom (UK), making him the first Indian-origin and the youngest PM of the country.
Sunak succeeded Liz Truss — the shortest serving PM of the UK.
Reportedly, Rishi Sunak and his wife Akshata Murty have a combined net worth of £730 million,
which is claimed to be more than the monarch King Charles III.
Akshata Murty is the daughter of N R Narayana Murthy, co-founder of Infosys and Sudha Murthy, a philanthropist and writer.
Akshata also reportedly has a £700 million stake in Infosys.
She had started her own design label called Akshata Designs and later became the director of the family-owned firm, Catamaran Ventures, in 2013.
She is also the director at London-based Digme Fitness (currently valued at £7.2 million).
