Step 1
Boil the mangoes in a sauce-pan for approximately 10 mins, until it gets soft from inside. Let the mangoes cool, then peel them off and grind the pulp in a mixture with appropriate amount of water and mint leaves to make a thick paste.
Step 2
Put the paste in a pan and add sugar (you can also use brown sugar or jaggery). Stir continuously till the sugar dissolves.
Step 3
Remove the pan from flame and add cumin powder and salt to the mixture (you can also add black salt to enhanced taste).
Step 4
Add 1-2 tbsp of the mango mixture to a tall glass of chilled water. Mix well. Garnish with mint leaves and serve.
