Have a daughter to know true women empowerment: Kajol

Bollywood actress Kajol shared a tweet with a powerful message while wishing her daughter Nysa on her 15th birthday, on Friday. The actress who is married to actor Ajay Devgn wished her daughter who is studying in Singapore, on social media along with a heartwarming photo. 

The actress in her tweet said that if one needs to know what true women empowerment is, they need to have daughter. She went on to add that there is nothing that helps break through cultural biases on daily basis than one’s own child. It also helps in breaking down preconceived notions and childhood conditioning among other things.     . 

The actress who gave birthday to Nysa in 2003, married former co-star and actor Ajay in 1999, and in 2010 had their second child and son Yug. Last year when Ajay Devgn was asked about Nysa studying abroad he said that he still couldn’t believe it but he now knows she is okay and while the family was upset, he is happy that she is adjusting in the new country.
