Tata Motors-owned Jaguar Land Rover took center-stage as newly-wed Prince Harry and Meghan Markle headed to their reception in Windsor. 

A silver-blue classic 1960s E-type Jaguar was waiting for Prince Harry last evening to drive his wife to Frogmore House for an intimate wedding reception for 200 friends and family, being hosted by his father Prince Charles. The car was environmental- friendly and ran on electric power which symbolised the eco-friendly side of the couple.

The car bore a special registration number marking the date of their wedding-E190518. In a statement, director of Jaguar Land Rover Classic, Tim Hannig said that their aim with zero concept is to give classic Jaguars a sustainable future in changing environmental and economic conditions. 

For the black-tie reception, Prince Harry was dressed in a formal suit. While Markle had changed into a white Stella McCartney halter-neck silk crepe gown and Aquazzura shoes. The former actress also wore a special wedding gift from her husband in memory of his mother Princess Diana - an emerald-cut aquamarine ring.

Bollywood star Priyanka Chopra, one of Markle's close friends who was invited to the wedding, took to social media to post a special tribute to congratulate the newly-weds. Priyanka is now famous in Hollywood for her role as Agent Alex Parish in Quantico and she wore a golden Dior gown for the evening reception.
