The latest buzz in Tamil cinema is that the actress Simran is likely to star opposite Thalaivar in the upcoming film with Karthik Subbaraj. Superstar Rajinikanth and director Karthik Subbaraj will be teaming up for a yet another Tamil film which is expected to hit the screens later this year.
Though Simran has paired with almost all the leading Tamil actors like Kamal, Vijay, Ajith, and Suriya, this will be Simran's first association with the superstar. However, an official confirmation is awaited on the same.
In February this year, Sun pictures announced that they are proud to be associated with Rajinikanth's next film with Karthik Subbaraj. After much speculation, the makers recently confirmed that actor Vijay Sethupathi will be seen in a pivotal role in the film.
In his latest interview, Vijay Sethupathi said that he trusts Karthik Subbaraj blindly and hence signed the project without even reading the script. Anirudh Ravichander will be composing the music and this will be his first collaboration with director Karthik Subbaraj as well.
On the other hand, Rajinikanth currently awaits the release of Kaala which is directed by Pa. Ranjith and it will hit the screens on June 7, 2018.
