Actress Bhumi Pednekar has always stood out with her film choices - be it her debut with Sharat Katariya's Dum Laga Ke Haisha or Toilet: Ek Prem Katha and Shubh Mangal Saavdhan. The actress completes four years in the industry today.

In a recent interview with a leading media organisation, she spoke about her journey. “It’s giving me goosebumps. Dum Laga Ke Haisha set the ball rolling and Toilet: Ek Prem Katha took it a notch higher. All the characters I’ve played so far have been diversely different, none of them is from a rich background but they have been rich in emotions,” she reportedly said.

The 29-year-old will next be seen in Karan Johar’s multi-starrer film Takht, one of her biggest films. She also opened up about her character and said, “I can’t talk about it except to say there’s a project in which you will see me be the most modern I can be. Also, in Karan Johar’s Takht, I will look the richest you have seen me. Karan has made me Mughal-rich.”

She was last seen in Sonchiriya with Sushant Singh Rajput, Ashutosh Rana, and Manoj Bajpayee.
