Actor Deepika Padukone shared a picture from the reading session of her upcoming film, Chhapaak. Deepika is seen with her co-star Vikrant Massey and director Meghna Gulzar.

Quoting William Shakespeare, she wrote: “All things are ready, if our mind be so.” Another picture from the session featuring other team members in the room is doing rounds on the internet.

In a recent media interaction, Deepika reportedly said that she will begin shooting for the film on Monday. “It’s so ironic that on the day of Holi, I am off to Delhi for the shooting of Chhapaak. We will start shooting it on Monday. It’s a very important film and I feel that the story which we are showcasing in our film needs to be told,” the Padmaavat actor reportedly said.

Chhapaak is based on acid attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal.
