Known for its aggressive styling, edgy lines, and attention to detail, the Kawasaki Ninja 1000 is a
versatile machine that is designed to offer a riding experience like no other. For the MY2019 edition, the Japanese manufacturer has stuck to the same four-stroke inline four engine that is liquid cooled and
displaces 1,043 cc.
The dual overhead camshaft, 16-valve unit is capable of delivering 142 PS of peak power and a maximum torque output of 111 Nm, which is more than ample for our streets. The engine is known for its strong pull through the rpm range and is extremely responsive.
Keeping with its versatile nature, the Ninja 1000 offers a rather relaxed riding position which is suited for both sport and city riding. The bike gets ABS and the 3-mode Kawasaki Traction Control as standard and has a chin spoiler that is similar to the Ninja H2 and Ninja ZX-10R models. Other key features include the lower profile dual LED headlights and the slipper clutch.
Assembled as an SKD product at Kawasaki’s Pune facility, the MY2019 Ninja 1000 is available for `9,99,000 onwards.
