2019 Ducati Scrambler India: Here's all about their features, specifications, price and more
Ducati has launched the all-new Ducati Scrambler range in a grand event in Hyderabad, India. Actors Venkatesh Daggubati and Naga Chaitanya were also present at the launch.
The updated 2019 Ducati Scrambler comes in four iterations - Icon, Desert Sled, Cafe Racer and Full Throttle.
The price range for them is below:
Ducati Scrambler Icon - Rs 7.89 lakh
Ducati Scrambler Full Throttle - Rs 8.92 lakh
Ducati Scrambler Cafe Racer - Rs 9.78 lakh
Ducati Scrambler Desert Sled - Rs 9.93 lakh
The Scrambler Icon is a blend of tradition and innovation, while Scrambler Desert Sled showcases an amalgamation of the spirit of the off-road bikes from the 60's and 70's but with the uniqueness of the Scrambler style. Full throttle takes its cue from the flat track Scrambler ridden by California racer Frankie Garcia in the 2018 American Super Hooligan Championship and the Scrambler Café Racer offers a fresh take on the legendary bikes of the 60’s that brought about a motorcycling revolution.
The latest versions incorporate new aesthetics with technical features including an L-Twin, Desmodromic distribution, 2 valves per cylinder, air cooled – 803 cc engine, which delivers more than generous torque of 49 lb-ft (67 Nm) @ 5,750 rpm right from the bottom of the rev range and an agile Scrambler chassis.
The aluminium of the new, beefier side panels matches the steel of the teardrop tank and the glass of the headlight. The black-painted crankcases and brushed cylinder head fins make the Ducati Scrambler even more attractive. The all-new headlight with DRL (Daytime Running Light) boosts bike visibility in traffic, even in daylight, as do the new auto-off LED indicators.
The wide handlebars, new flat seat, Pirelli MT 60 RS tyres and renewed suspension set-up merge to provide a more comfortable riding position. New Bosch Cornering ABS maximises active safety during braking.
The new range comes with a new apparel line-up, which ranges from jackets to t-shirts. The bookings are now open across all Ducati dealerships in Delhi – NCR, Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Kochi, Kolkata, Chennai and Hyderabad.
