While we are inundated with art day-in and day out, there are a few special pieces that have transcended time and culture and have slated their place in art history, such is the work of FN Souza. The FN Souza International Fine Arts Foundation and Family Trust, which owns a large collection of art by the late master modernist Francis Newton Souza is back to set another mark at the Aspire Auctions – Cleveland Ohio USA.

The much awaited rare series of the acrylic canvas by Indian American Artist F N Souza promises to leave you spellbound because of its spectacular artistic work. To elate art connoisseurs around the globe, the foundation will unveil the genres of Mr Souza’s work which will include the impressions of European cities in the 50s and 60s, portraits of tribal woman, the relatives of Mr Souza’s chain, shades of villages and visions of multiple heads.

In total ten paintings of Mr Souza are with Aspire Auctions, two paintings will be available for public auction from August 31 – September 8, 2018, and eight will be available for private sales. 

Authenticity certificates signed and notarized by FN Souza are available with all paintings. 

In 2008, his painting "Birth" (1955) set a world auction record for the most expensive Indian painting sold till then by selling for US$2.5 million (INR 11.3 crore) at a Christie's auction. In 2015, the painting "Birth" was resold at Christie's in New York, fetching more than US$4 million.
