Kolkata-based artist Anukta Mukherjee Ghosh is hosting a solo exhibition titled 'India on Canvas', featuring art which upholds the rich tapestry of Indian culture and heritage. Ghosh is known for her vibrant modern sketches and will host the show at ITC Sonar from September 6 to 8. The chief guest for the event is the celebrated artist Shuvaprasanna, while Honourable Minister Bratya Basu & Consulate General of Russia Mr. Alexey M. Idamkin.
We are told that the pieces are Anukta’s ode to India, and are personal insights and associations from the mundane to the obvious, that have held an appeal for her.
