‘The 5 AM Guy’ Aditya Shroff launches his first book, The Best Life Ever
Inspired by his running experiences, the book captures the journey of the protagonist, a simple village lad, as he runs through the countryside.
Aditya's own childhood was spent running through his parents’ farm “chasing goats and eating farm-fresh fruits”.
He explains, “The life-changing journey of the protagonist is meant to mirror the consciousness of the reader and dwell on the beautiful relationships that defined our lives as children.
This book is essentially a call to the spirit of humanity to re-visit the long-forgotten childhood days, learn from the special emotions and bonds that once defined our existence and take a shot at life once again—this time with fire in the heart and laughter on the lips.”
The stories are written in first person narrative, and that makes it an experience more than just a book.
The foreword of the book has been written by acclaimed model, actor and fitness enthusiast Milind Soman who claims with seemingly immense happiness that “the good old Malgudi days have returned!”
Running through the farmlands bordering the Arabian Sea, through bustling Indian cities, to the majestic Himalayas and into the unexplored territories of the heart, the lad revises his take on life with each new experience and “magical musings”, making it “one incredible journey”.
The book has been reviewed by people who are authorities in the world of literature, receiving immense praise for its quaint and revolutionary story-telling which takes the reader down the nostalgic memory lane of childhood reminisces.
Aditya, an engineer who graduated from the University of Mumbai, is passionate about writing and running and loves to explore the finer things in life, for which he gave up the prospective luxury of the corporate world.
