VR Bengaluru announced the launch of the Whitefield Literary Society, a platform for literature and art enthusiasts to come together. Part of the mall’s Connecting Communities initiative, the aim is to enable like-minded individuals to connect, discuss, inspire each other and share their stories.
The initiative kicks off with a special session titled Salon with Shreemoyee (Piu Kundu). Shreemoyee is a bestselling author, whose last novel Status Single was launched exactly a year ago. She will be in conversation with Apsara Reddy, a leading transgender activist, columnist and television personality. The two will discuss Status Single, its characters and the issues it addresses.
The event, which will be held at Toscano in VR Mall, will conclude with  drinks, dinner and Shreemoyee’s book club recommendation.
