After Kabali, Pa Ranjith and Rajinikanth come together for Kaala Karikaalan

Rajinikanth's latest movie Kaala Karikaalan is with with Pa Ranjith. The name of the movie and the first look of its poster was unveiled at 10am today. The film has Santosh Narayan's music, Sreekar Prasad's editing and T Ramalingam's art direction.

The word 'Kaala' is one derived from Sanskrit, which either means the colour black or is a reference to the God of death, Yama, according to the Hindu belief system.Rajinikanth in the movie has the qualities of Yama as he creates fear in the hearts of those engaged in unlawfu; activities. Karikaalan was a popular Chola king. Set in Mumbai, the movie is about a ganster.

Unlike the current trend among filmmakers, Rajinikanth's new movie has taken a different route, revealing the name of the movie even before it hit the floors.

Dhanush is, for the first time, collaborating with Rajinikanth. The complete caste and crew for the film is yet to be announced.
