Whether it is a Rahman melody or a Bollywood number, these guys make a packed crowd groove to their tunes. Capricio, Hyderabad’s favourite Telugu band is only growing by leaps and bounds. Eknath
Kiran, Ganesh Krovvidi, Sai Teja and P Shravan make for the perfect team as they perform like a single entity when they are on stage.

Barely a year into band life, Capricio has their work cut out for them. “Our attempt is to add our own soul into already existing hits. If we don’t improvise and add a surprise element then it would just be a repeat of old songs,” explains Eknath, one of the two lead vocalists. It turns out, their improvisations are what got them their popularity. Apart from vocalists Ganesh and Eknath, the band also consists of  Sai Teja on rhythm and Shravan on the piano.

Capricio also debuted on TV with Konchem Touch lo Unte Chepta. However, the highest point this year for the band, they admit, is when they got the opportunity to perform at Tedx Hyderabad edition in July. While covers and medleys are their strength, they also want to eventually venture into original music. “We want to showcase our strength in terms of compositions as well and we are heading towards it in the upcoming year. Our focus will also be on the digital front,” says Ganesh.
