Grammy award winner Jacob Collier adds another date to tour schedule in India
British singer and composer Jacob Collier has added yet another date to his debut show in India. The multi-instrumentalist who won multiple Grammys for his album In My Room at the age of 22, will now also perform on September 17.
The announcement comes merely days after hosts Mixtape and the National Centre for the Performing Arts (NCPA) announced Collier’s show in India to be held on September 18. As per posters shared on Mixtape’s Instagram handles, the tickets for the performance on the date has been sold out.

Collier was first introduced to the world through his viral YouTube videos. He has been mentored by legendary jazz musician Quincy Jones, who also manages the young talent through his production house. At 24-years old, Collier is touted as the youngest ever recipient of the PRS for Music Gold Award at Jazz FM Awards.
His music is a converging point for multiple styles of music such as jazz, funk, soul, groove and R&B. Since early 2018, he has been engaged in an ambitious four-volume album named Djesse, of which two have already been released.
Jacob Collier’s performance in India will also feature multi-instrumentalist and vocalist MARO, bassist Robin Mullarkey and drummer Christian Euman.
