Nicki Minaj is hardly retiring; drops new single with Philadelphia rapper PnB rock

Trinidad and Tobago-born rapper Nicki Minaj gave all her fans a good scare earlier this month when she announced her retirement to start a new family. The artiste who is engaged to long-term boyfriend  Kenneth "Zoo" Petty wrote, “I've decided to retire & have my family. I know you guys are happy now. To my fans, keep reppin (rapping) me, do it til da death of me, X in the box- cuz ain't nobody checking me. Love you for LIFE”. Her outraged fans took to Twitter, demanding a change of mind or explanation for this sudden decision.

But looks like all that apprehension was wrongly-timed, as Nicki released a new powerful track with Philadelphia rapper PnB featuring Canadian musician Murda Beatz. The song named Fendi is a tribute to her favourite clothing label. After her last album Queen in 2018, Nicki has been busy releasing tracks with a list of artistes, including Lil Durk, Avril Lavigne and A$AP Rocky. She was also featured on Megan Three Stallon's single Hot Girl Summer that was released in August.

Nicki begins the song Fendi saying “I swear, this is my favourite song”. Watch it on the link below:
