In his latest return to the spotlight rapper, Eminem released a four-minute video in which he unleashed a freestyle attack on US President Donald Trump.
The rapper who filmed the video on Tuesday night for the BET Hip Hop Awards called out Trump and his supporters over racism, the NFL, immigration, North Korea and more.
Filmed in a parking lot, the title The Storm and the opening line is in reference to Trump's comments about “the calm before the storm" at a dinner with military leaders.
The Lose Yourself rapper and Oscar winner ended with a demand for his fans to take a side: “Any fan of mine who’s a supporter of his, I’m drawing in the sand a line, you’re either for or against, and if you can’t decide who you like more and you’re split on who you should stand beside, I’ll do it for it for you with this. F*ck you.”
The video has received praise from LeBron James and J. Cole among others with rapper Snoop Dogg posting a video shout out to the Detroit rapper on social media.
