With the recent controversies surrounding casting couches and sexual harassment in the industry, actress Richa Chadha brings out another side of the film industry and it is not too good. The actress admitted that there is a kind of hierarchy on the set, which is a weird feeling as it creates a gap between actors and it is quite prominent.

The actress who has just wrapped up shooting for Abhi Toh Party Shuru Hui has worked in several mainstream films as well as with theatre artistes and she has seen preferences being given several times. The cast of the movie which includes Pankaj Tripathi, Saurabh Shukla, Vinay Pathak, Divya Dutta, Manoj Pahwa and Pavan Malhotra.

The actress giving an example said if there are five actors and all of them are commercially viable then just because my manager instructs the set to give me a different van, it creates a problem. The actress went on to state that when she sits to eat lunch, it feels weird because only she has got special treatment and the others have not.

However, the actress said, this did not occur on the sets of Abhi Party Shuru Hui and all the actors on set helped each other, especially junior artistes. For the movie, they helped several actors in Lucknow who did not know much about mark, light and how to do the basics and they were immediately guided by the senior actors on set. But if there is a hierarchy they will not be able to open up and it will become difficult for them.

The Gangs of Wasseypur actress went on to say that If they are present for two-three days and have to prove themselves, then why make the difference and bring it up in the first place for them as it really hurts the person on the other side.
