The making of the film, Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi, has been riddled with controversies, with first, director Krish leaving the film even before it was ready allegedly to helm NTR’s biopic and then actor Sonu Sood walking out. But actress Kangana Ranaut, is confident about the warrior queen’s biopic and says that her detractors will be left speechless after they watch the film.
During fashion designer Neeta Lulla's Christmas bash, the actress said, "I feel people who are not saying good things about me or my film will have to shut their mouths after watching the film and people who are saying good things, their mouths can't be shut by anyone, this is what I feel," said the outspoken Bollywood star during one of her media interactions.
The trailer of "Manikarnika - The Queen of Jhansi" received a mixed response from the netizens, with some people cheering it and others. But one can’t ignore the fact that the trailer garnered over 2 million views and has created quite a buzz.
Talking about the words of encouragement she has received post the release of the film, she said, "I feel that's the result of a team work. Initially, I found it difficult but then, I felt that I can do justice to the film as an actor and as a director. "I think god has been kind and I am happy doing both roles. We are very excited for the release of the film. We just can't wait to present the film in front of the audience." The film is scheduled to release on 25th January.
