Actress Tamannaah to receive Dadasaheb Phalke Award for 'Baahubali'

Indian actress Tamannaah Bhatia recently received the iconic Sridevi Award at Zee Apsara Awards, but the awards aren't stopping there as the actress is also set to receive the Dadasaheb Phalke Excellence Award for her role in 'Baahubali: The Beginning', and is one of the most coveted awards in Indian cinema.

The award will be given by Mumbai-based Dadasaheb Phalke Foundation on April 21 and is given to individuals from the entertainment industry for their outstanding contribution in the field. 

The actress, talking about the award added that she has grown up learning and knowing the immense involvement of Dadasaheb Phalke had in Indian cinema and it is an absolute honour to be receiving it. 

Tamannaah is currently working on two Telugu movies - the first one is 'Naa Nuvve' and the second is a remake of Bollywood film 'Queen'.
