Paul Walker’s mother recalls her last conversation with the actor

Five years after his death, Paramount has decided to make a documentary on the actor's life.

Cherryl Walker, mother of late American actor Paul Walker, opened up about her son’s last day before he was killed in a car accident in 2013. “We were having this good conversation, and he'd forgotten about an event. He got a text and said, 'Oh my gosh, I'm supposed to be somewhere’,” she said, in an interview with a leading media organisation.

The 40-year-old actor attended his organisation's charity car show event on November 30, post which, he was on his way back with his friend, Roger Rodas, who was driving a Porsche sports car. The two died in the tragic accident.

Cherryl further said, “Many people think, 'Oh, he was just a movie star who was killed in a car accident', but there was so much more to him. That was just a piece of who he was. He was an amazing man. I've gotten letters from people all over the world who said he made a difference in their lives.” She added that the late Fast and Furious actor was excited for Christmas and was looking forward to celebrating it with his 15-year-old daughter, Meadow.

Five years after the actor’s death, American film company Paramount has planned to make a documentary based on Paul Walker’s life, I am Paul Walker. The film is scheduled to release in August.
