Hollywood actor Angelina Jolie on Tuesday announced that she has decided to go ahead with her divorce with Brad Pitt and wants it finished by the end of 2018. The process has been going on for the last two years after the couple split and Angelina filed for divorce in September 2016. Her attorney has filed for the papers in the Los Angeles Superior Court stating that the two parties return to single status by the end of the year.

According to various other media reports, Angelina also went on to allege that Brad has not paid meaningful child support ever since they separated. She went on to add that while they had an informal arrangement about it, the payments made by him had not been regularly sustained. The couple have six children together and Angelina is also looking to get primary custody of all of them with the divorce. The actress’ spokesperson said Angelina wants to provide closure to their relationship and move forward to the next stage of their lives and be co-parents to the children.

The progress in the report has come after the couple had irreconcilable differences, which triggered a bitter custody dispute between them. Brad Pitt was also cleared of child abuse. Not too long ago, Brad Pitt said that he had quit drinking and was working towards clearing all the hatred between him and Angelina.
