Hollywood actor Scarlett Johansson becomes the highest paid actress in the world after she reportedly earned 40.5 million dollars in the last one year. Interestingly, she did not feature in the Forbes list in 2017 but her topping the list has been attributed to her role as Black Widow in the Avengers: Infinity War among other films in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
According to media reports, Angelina Jolie comes in second at 28 million dollars because of her Maleficent 2 contract with Disney, which she began shooting for in May and is scheduled to release in May 2020. Hollywood’s famous star Jennifer Aniston comes in at third with 19.5 million dollars, but is said to be quite less as she has been featured in advertisements with Emirates among others, as Jennifer Lawrence follows at fourth place with 18 million dollars as Reese Witherspoon completes the top 5 list at 16.5 million dollars.
However, Emma Stone who topped the list in 2017 at 26 million dollars, does not feature in the list at all this year along with Charlize Theron and Emma Watson. In 2018, the top 10 richest women cumulatively are worth 186 million dollars.
